That big line that LeClair played on was quite benefitial to his performances in Phily.

I really liked Recchi when he was in Montreal too.

Sometimes hindsight really hurts!

Both those guys (LeClair and Desjardins) had some pretty solid careers.

Desjardins for Recchi would have been palatable, but Bobby Clarke fenangled two prospects out of us.

That said Recchi was the best player in the deal and was (and would still be if he weren't a Bruin) my favourite player. Recchi scored goals on the Canadiens which is key, because without Lindros, Leclair probably wouldn't have. It hurt to lose our best defender, but we could have managed were it not for more bad trades later on.
