Andre... at this point I think it would be an idea to bring Sergei up and try to make it better with him.

Just like you said... at best it starts to click... at worst maybe it works out for a trade.

On Neilson... I really liked what I saw in pre-season. I wouldn't be scared to try him out for a few games.

Let the experiments begin!

Easy for me now since today is Nov 09 so lot's has happened since Oct 23rd. Anyhow, looking at what we have to work with (top 6), we need Sergei to get back in there quick. I would call him back and have him and his brother on Pleks line for at least 15 games. The Habs do not have depth top 6 so we are kinda stuck. At best, it works out and we end up with two scoring lines. At worst, both brothers are showcased and we hope that we can trade both of them for something decent.

Pacman, Lats, Lappy and everyone else are way over their head on the second line at this point and we are in the process of screwing them up for good. Oh and yeah, bring up Neilsen so that our guys can skate with a little more edge. It is obvious that big George is nowhere near the player that we hoped he would be. Might as well stay home and eat tofu.

My lines (15 games/no less)

Cammallari, Gomez, Gionta
Andrei K. Plekanec, Sergei K.
Latendresse, Lapierre, Pacioretty
Moen, Metropolit, Neilsen

Pacman and Neilson can be interchanged if need be.

Dennis, I completely agree about the soap opera. There's been enough drama to last years.

I had been quite hopeful, in regards to Sergei, but my hope is pretty much gone.

I still think if he screws his head on right he could be a good player in the NHL. But with all the baggage around him last year (forgivable) and now this year (I'm pretty sick of it)... I'm ready to draw my line in the sand.

If somehow he was traded for a pick or bundled with someone to get a player that could help. I'm all for it.

My inclination is to get him out of the organization as fast as possible. This non-stop soap opera in Montreal, one thing after another, eventually has to slow down. Sergei is helping himself or the team. I think he's very immature.
