I actually fell asleep and missed little over half the game.

From what I saw, Carle wasn’t bad… finished +1 and played 2 minutes more then Bergeron.

I’m always nervous when Bergeron is handling the puck in our end.

I haven’t seen him play much, but from what I’ve heard he’s a puck moving defenceman who doesn’t a lot. His positioning is/was an issue but I’ve heard he’s improved that aspect of his game.

Montreal’s really running low on NHL-caliber defenceman, but I’m happy to see that they can try out various players in the AHL. I’ve heard that once Henry is back from injury, that he’s next on the rotation. Subban on the other hand, although he’s doing fine in his first season as pro, needs a lot more seasioning and is still working on his postioning. I believe it’s too early for him to be called up, his happy-go-lucky confidence needs to be protected for now.

So I’m glad with this call-up. A rotation of Webber, Belle, Carle, Henry, + is a good system to have!
