I listed Bergeron as a bright spot this week… but last night his defense was really bad again.

I really really wish that I wasn’t motivated to write a bad comment about him… french canadian playing in Montreal…. it’s a good story…

But my God… he just seems to make bad passes out of his defensive zone. Very often. And he gets knocked off the puck around the net… and doesn’t fair well in the corners….

Carey Price… what a bright spot! He played so well I really felt bad for him that his team just couldn’t score and give him the win.

That would have been a “Carey Price stole that one” kind of game had the team scored.

Gui was supposed to sit out…. he should have.

AK46, I don’t know…. don’t know when or if he’ll ever get going… take a chance on bringing up Sergei and throwing them together for 4-5 games??

Plekanec… yeah. Give him an extension. He’s proving himself with every game.

Here’s a quiet bright spot… maybe unexpected..

Jay Leach. Yes, he’s -1 after 3 games… but he’s the only defenseman that I’ve noticed will take the body and clear out forwards from the front of the net.

He hasn’t been a bad pickup.

I’d play Mathieu Carle instead of Bergeron for a couple of games.
