Carey Price named 2nd star in the NHL this week

Carey Price has been playing some fantastic hockey as of late. After a little bit of a slower start some fans were sounding the panic alarm about Price and some of us were thinking that maybe the fact that Martin seemed to be rolling with a “win and your in” game plan might create some hunger with the goaltenders… a healthy competition.

One thing is for sure, Price is looking like he’s got that confidence back.

The NHL has certainly noticed by naming him 2nd star.

Hey Yves,what can i say i’m a big “Price” is right fan.The kids got talent………a little healthy competition never hurts anybody.It lets Carey set back,reflect on past sucsesses………hone them skills.I also think its a fine balencing act,as not to peak to early.There’s a lot of hockey left to play.We have not seen the best of this kid yet.

He’s got loads of talent.

I think when he finished in disappointment last year, people may have forgotten that early in other very successful goaltenders careers they also had some rough spells…

Patrick Roy wasn’t perfect his entire career… but he learn to become a great goaltender.

Price has that potential.
