Weber called up, White sent back

It was really strange the other night… Ryan White got to play a few minutes in the game versus the Ottawa Senators but then had to be pulled from the game because the Canadiens apparently didn’t follow proper procedure in his “call-up”.

Could have been scandalous if White had been on the ice when a goal had been scored because it seems as per league rules the goal would not have counted.

Anyway, Ryan White was sent back to the Hamilton Bulldogs yesterday.

Toronto Maple Leafs v Montreal Canadiens

And in other news, Yannick Weber has been brought up to Montreal. The announcement was made yesterday.

Weber played 3 games at the beginning of the year and had no points to go along with a -4 rating.

With the injuries to more defensemen in Spacek and Mara the “Marc-André Bergeron on the 4th line” experiment is likely on the shelf for the moment and the Habs needed another D-man.

Along with Bergeron, Weber will bring another big shot along the blue line.

Let’s hope these injuries aren’t to serious as this is a big month for the Canadiens and tonight they play a very tough opponent in the Penguins.
