He’s got decent hands for sure. Bigger body for Gionta and Gomez. Plus he can keep up with them!

I’m not expecting the world of him, but I think there’s lots of potential.

2 nights ago…. if memory serves me, seems as though Guillaume had 7 shots in the game against Calgary… so Minnesota certainly are getting something out of him.

Think it’s a good trade for both teams and both guys.

I’d rather have the upside Pouliot has. Time will tell though how far he can develop that talent.

But I was wondering, looking at the scoring chances tally of Pouliot (he’s had as much as 7 in a given game and usually manages to get 3 a game), if he had enough finish to actually turn those into something. Looking at the goals he scored this year (tip-in, scramble in front of the net, lazer beam at the en of a rush…), it looks like he’s got something in those mitts.
